Garda vetting only covers Ireland and Northern Ireland, so anyone starting relevant work here who has lived abroad is usually asked for a police certificate from each of those countries. We translate criminal record certificates from Poland, Romania, Brazil, Ukraine and 100+ other countries into English for the HSE, the Teaching Council, CORU and Irish employers, and Garda Police Certificates into other languages for use abroad. €29.95 per page, most delivered in 24 hours.
No account required. No commitment. Exact price in seconds.

No add-ons hidden in the small print. Everything below is standard.
Worded to mirror the format Irish bodies publish: a statement that it is a true translation of the original, the date, the translator’s name and signature, and our address, phone and email.
Your full name and any previous names, date and place of birth, parents’ names where the certificate shows them, the ID or personal number, the result (no record, or each conviction with court and date), the legal basis cited, the issuing office, issue date, validity note, reference number, stamps, e-signature and QR verification text.
A native speaker with experience in your exact document type, never machine translation. The same translator across all your documents on request.
Every certificate carries our company stamp and a unique reference number, which several Irish registration bodies and the Foreign Births Register ask to see.
Emailed as a PDF on completion. Where the receiving body wants paper, add a hard copy sent by tracked post at checkout.
Free revisions until you are happy. If a receiving body rejects the translation, we revise it free or refund you in full.
€29.95 per page (300 source words). Almost every national criminal record certificate fits on one page, so most clients pay €29.95 per country. If you are sending a Garda Police Certificate abroad, we can arrange an apostille on our translation for €149.95 digital or €199.95 with a hard copy by tracked post.
Each Irish body sets its own residence threshold and date rules for overseas police clearance, so check the one that applies to you. These are the requirements our clients meet most often.
If you have lived outside Ireland and Northern Ireland since your 16th birthday, the HSE asks for police clearance for each country where you had an address for 6 months or more.
Applicants with 12 months or more abroad after age 18 need national police clearance for each country. Clearances not in English or Irish need a certified translation.
Health and social care professionals who lived one year and a day or longer in any one country after 18 must provide that country’s Certificate of Criminal Clearance.
Under the National Vetting Bureau Act 2016, relevant work with children or vulnerable adults needs Garda vetting, and many organisations also ask for clearance from countries you lived in.
The Gardaí issue a Police Certificate in limited cases, such as applying to a foreign consular authority or starting a business in another EU State. We translate it into the destination language.
Private employers in healthcare, security, finance and transport often ask for overseas police clearance at the offer stage and cannot assess one they cannot read.
Same €29.95 per page whatever the language. These are the languages we see most often from clients in Ireland.
Irish bodies want a national certificate that covers your whole stay in that country, not a local or state one. Knowing what each country issues, and what its wording means, avoids a rejected clearance.
The KRK certificate states whether the person figures in the National Criminal Register (osoba nie figuruje w kartotece). Electronic copies carry a qualified e-signature instead of a stamp; we translate the signature and verification notes too.
Usually states nu figurează în cazierul judiciar and has a short validity. Romanian certificates list the CNP personal number, which we keep exactly as it appears so it matches your ID.
Brazil issues both a federal certidão and state-level ones. Irish bodies asking for national clearance usually expect the federal certificate; we translate whichever you hold, including its validation code.
Officially an extract (витяг) confirming no criminal record, often issued electronically through Diia with a QR code. We transliterate names to match your passport and keep the document number and verification text.
An extract from the Lithuanian register of suspects, accused and convicted persons, commonly issued online. We translate the register wording and the electronic signature details.
The Georgian certificate of criminal record, issued in Georgian and sometimes also in English. If you have only the Georgian version, we translate it in full, including the transliterated names and number.
We translate police certificates into English for Irish bodies and Garda Police Certificates from English into other languages. Every order follows the same steps: a professional translator renders the result wording exactly, names and numbers are checked against the source, and you receive a signed, stamped certified translation as a PDF.
