Professional translators · any language · signed, stamped Certificate of Accuracy

Teachers qualified outside Ireland register with the Teaching Council by sending transcripts, module descriptors and proof of teaching practice. Anything not in English or Irish must come with an English translation stamped by the translator, with their name and address. We translate teaching degrees, transcripts, course handbook extracts and practice records at €29.95 per page, and most orders are delivered within 24 hours. Translate only the highlighted sections the Council needs, and keep the cost down.

No add-ons hidden in the small print. Everything below is standard.

Signed Certificate of Accuracy

Worded to mirror the format Irish bodies publish: a statement that it is a true translation of the original, the date, the translator’s name and signature, and our address, phone and email.

Word-for-Word Accuracy

Degree and teaching qualification titles, awarding institution and faculty, each module with ECTS credits, module descriptor content (aims, delivery, assessment, learning outcomes), supervised school placement hours, literature lists for language teachers, teaching experience letters and every stamp.

Professional Translator

A native speaker with experience in your exact document type, never machine translation. The same translator across all your documents on request.

Stamp & Reference Number

Every certificate carries our company stamp and a unique reference number, which several Irish registration bodies and the Foreign Births Register ask to see.

Country-Specific Knowledge

We Know Your Country's Teaching Qualifications

Teacher education is structured differently across Europe, and Irish assessors check ECTS credits and school placement closely, especially for post-primary subjects. These are the documents we see most often.

🇪🇸 Spain · Grado en Educación Primaria / Máster en Profesorado

Spanish post-primary teachers hold a subject degree plus the Máster Universitario en Formación del Profesorado. We translate both, including the Practicum credits and the mención (specialism) on the primary degree.

🇫🇷 France · Master MEEF / CAPES

We translate the Master MEEF diploma and relevé de notes, the CAPES or CRPE attestation of success, and the stage en responsabilité records, keeping the unités d'enseignement and ECTS exactly.

🇩🇪 Germany · Erstes & Zweites Staatsexamen

German teachers qualify through the Erstes Staatsexamen (or a Master of Education) and the Vorbereitungsdienst ending in the Zweites Staatsexamen. We translate both Zeugnisse with subject grades and Referendariat details.

🇮🇹 Italy · Laurea & Abilitazione

We translate the laurea magistrale certificate with esami, CFU and voti, and the abilitazione all'insegnamento for the classe di concorso, which shows the subjects you are qualified to teach.

🇵🇱 Poland · Dyplom & przygotowanie pedagogiczne

Polish teachers show a dyplom plus przygotowanie pedagogiczne, often in the suplement or a separate świadectwo. We translate the praktyki pedagogiczne hours and the specjalność nauczycielska wording precisely.

🇧🇷 Brazil · Licenciatura

A Brazilian licenciatura is the teaching degree, unlike a bacharelado. We translate the diploma, the histórico escolar with estágio supervisionado hours and the ementas (module descriptions) you select for the Council.

Every Language Routes Through the Same Trusted Pipeline

Tell us which pages or handbook sections you have highlighted and we quote for those alone. One translator handles your transcript and descriptors so module names match across documents, and you receive stamped PDFs with our name and address, ready for your My Registration account.

FAQs

Teaching Council Registration Translation: Common Questions

How much does a Teaching Council translation cost?+
€29.95 per page of 300 source words, the same for every language. Because you can translate only highlighted handbook sections, many applicants need five to eight pages rather than a whole handbook.
How quickly can you deliver?+
24 hours for one to three pages as standard. Longer sets of module descriptors take a few days. A 12-hour expedited service is available on request.
Can I translate the documents myself?+
The Council's guidelines say you can, but the translation must then be verified and stamped by an official translator. It is often simpler to have the whole translation done professionally.
What about the EU eTranslation tool?+
The Council mentions the European Commission's free eTranslation tool, but notes that translations still need to be verified by someone who can officially stamp them, and it accepts no responsibility for errors from the tool.
Does your translation include what the Council needs?+
The Council asks for a stamped translation with the translator's name and address. Ours carries a company stamp, the translator's name and signature, our address, phone and email, and a reference number.
Do I need to translate my police clearance too?+
If you lived abroad for 12 months or more after age 18, you need police clearance from each country. If it is not in English, translate it with the rest of your file.
Do Irish-language documents need translating?+
No. The Council accepts documents in English or Irish.
