Applying to CAO with a Matura, Abitur, Baccalauréat or Bachillerato instead of the Leaving Cert? CAO scores your results against its own tables, but only once it has your official results and, for most countries, your final-year school report, each with a translation. We translate both documents into English, keeping every subject, level and grade exactly as printed, for €29.95 per page, with most orders delivered within 24 hours.
No account required. No commitment. Exact price in seconds.
Send a photo, scan or PDF of your School-Leaving certificate through our secure portal. We count the words and show you the exact price in euro straight away.
A professional translator completes your translation, and we attach a signed Certificate of Accuracy with our full contact details, company stamp and reference number.
Your certified translation arrives by email as a PDF, ready to submit. A hard copy by tracked post or an apostille can be added at checkout. 12-hour expedited service on request.
No add-ons hidden in the small print. Everything below is standard.
Worded to mirror the format Irish bodies publish: a statement that it is a true translation of the original, the date, the translator’s name and signature, and our address, phone and email.
Candidate name and date of birth, school and examining authority, exam session, every subject with its level (basic, extended, intensive), written and oral components, percentages or points, coefficients, overall result, certificate number, signatures and official stamps.
A native speaker with experience in your exact document type, never machine translation. The same translator across all your documents on request.
Every certificate carries our company stamp and a unique reference number, which several Irish registration bodies and the Foreign Births Register ask to see.
Emailed as a PDF on completion. Where the receiving body wants paper, add a hard copy sent by tracked post at checkout.
Free revisions until you are happy. If a receiving body rejects the translation, we revise it free or refund you in full.
€29.95 per page of 300 source words. A school-leaving certificate is usually one page and a final-year report one or two, so most CAO applicants pay €59.85 to €89.85. Irish colleges do not ask for an apostille on the translation; one is only relevant if you are sending documents abroad.
Most EU school leavers meet the translation requirement through CAO, but the same certificate is often asked for again when you apply to a college directly or register after an offer.
Applicants presenting other school-leaving examinations must submit final examination results, accompanying translations if required, and evidence of English proficiency.
The CAO Handbook asks that supporting documents arrive within 10 days of registering online, uploaded or posted but not both, so translate early.
For the Disability Access Route to Education, CAO states that evidence of disability not printed in English must be accompanied by an official translation.
Applicants outside the CAO system, for example many from outside the EU, usually apply directly to universities, which ask for school results with an English translation.
If SUSI asks for supporting documents from another country, any documents in a language other than English will require a verified translated copy.
Further education colleges, PLC courses and apprenticeship employers may ask for proof of completed second-level education when your certificate is not Irish.
Same €29.95 per page whatever the language. These are the languages we see most often from clients in Ireland.
CAO's guide for EU/EFTA applicants sets out, country by country, which documents it wants. These are the most common certificates we translate for Irish applicants and the detail each one needs.
CAO asks Polish applicants for the matura results and the final-year school report (Świadectwo Ukończenia Liceum Ogólnokształcącego), both translated. We keep the poziom podstawowy or rozszerzony for every subject and the percentage scores.
CAO wants your official relevé de notes with a translation, and states that web print results will not suffice. We translate the épreuves, coefficients and the mention exactly, since CAO uses the coefficients in its calculation.
CAO asks for the official Zeugnis der Allgemeinen Hochschulreife with a translation. We keep the Leistungskurs and Grundkurs levels, the points for each Halbjahr and the Durchschnittsnote exactly as the school printed them.
CAO asks for the official Bachillerato results with a translation. We translate each materia and its calificación, keep the modalidad, and include the PAU or EBAU (Selectividad) results where you are submitting them too.
Romanian applicants send the diplomă de bacalaureat and the final-year results, both translated. We keep the probe scrise and the evaluation of competences, and the media generală to two decimals.
CAO asks Ukrainian applicants for the IEE/NMT results and the атестат, both with a translation. We translate the atestat subject grades on the 12-point scale and each NMT test score with its certificate number.
Upload the certificate and your final-year report together so one translator handles both and subject names match. We keep the original's layout so CAO can compare it line by line, and you receive signed, stamped PDFs to upload to your CAO account straight away.
