Qualified lawyers from EU and EFTA countries can become solicitors in Ireland by passing the Law Society's Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test. The first step, the Certificate of Eligibility, needs translations of any documents not in English, made from copies already certified by a solicitor or notary, with the translator's name, address and contact details on each page. We translate admission certificates, good-standing letters and law degrees for €29.95 per page, most within 24 hours.
No account required. No commitment. Exact price in seconds.
Send a photo, scan or PDF of your documents through our secure portal. We count the words and show you the exact price in euro straight away.
A professional translator completes your translation, and we attach a signed Certificate of Accuracy with our full contact details, company stamp and reference number.
Your certified translation arrives by email as a PDF, ready to submit. A hard copy by tracked post or an apostille can be added at checkout. 12-hour expedited service on request.
No add-ons hidden in the small print. Everything below is standard.
Worded to mirror the format Irish bodies publish: a statement that it is a true translation of the original, the date, the translator’s name and signature, and our address, phone and email.
Title of admission (adwokat, abogado, avocat, Rechtsanwalt, avvocato), bar or chamber name, admission date and register number, disciplinary status wording, law degree details, the solicitor's or notary's certification on the copy, and all stamps and signatures.
A native speaker with experience in your exact document type, never machine translation. The same translator across all your documents on request.
Every certificate carries our company stamp and a unique reference number, which several Irish registration bodies and the Foreign Births Register ask to see.
Emailed as a PDF on completion. Where the receiving body wants paper, add a hard copy sent by tracked post at checkout.
Free revisions until you are happy. If a receiving body rejects the translation, we revise it free or refund you in full.
€29.95 per page of 300 source words. A certificate of good standing and an admission certificate are usually one page each, and a law degree one more. The Law Society accepts postal applications only, so add a hard copy by tracked post at checkout.
The Law Society's QLTT Certificate of Eligibility guidance sets a specific order: certify first, then translate. Our translations are prepared to meet the translation step and include the details it lists.
Documents to be translated must first be certified by a solicitor or notary as true copies of the originals placed before them. The certified copy is what we translate.
Translations must be done by an official translator whose name, address and contact details are clearly stamped or noted on each translated document.
You need an original Certificate of Good Standing from each jurisdiction where you are admitted, dated no more than three months before your application.
A certified copy of the good-standing certificate that was translated is submitted together with the original certificate, plus the translation.
Applications must be sent by post. The Law Society does not accept applications or scanned documents by email.
The Law Society lists lawyers admitted in EU and EFTA member states among those eligible, as well as certain common-law jurisdictions such as New York and New Zealand.
Same €29.95 per page whatever the language. These are the languages we see most often from clients in Ireland.
Lawyers from common-law jurisdictions usually have English documents. EU lawyers do not, and each bar issues its own style of certificate. These are the ones we translate most often for the QLTT.
We keep the difference between adwokat and radca prawny, and translate the zaświadczenie from the okręgowa rada adwokacka or okręgowa izba radców prawnych, including the wpis na listę date and number.
We translate the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados certificado de colegiación, showing ejerciente status, fecha de incorporación and absence of sanciones, plus your Título de Grado en Derecho and Máster de Acceso.
We translate the attestation d'inscription au barreau from the Ordre des avocats, the CAPA and your Master en droit, keeping the barreau name and the date of prestation de serment.
We translate the Rechtsanwaltskammer Bescheinigung confirming Zulassung, the Zeugnis über die Zweite juristische Staatsprüfung and the Erste juristische Prüfung, keeping the Note and Punktzahl exactly as printed.
We translate the certificato di iscrizione all'Albo degli Avvocati from the Consiglio dell'Ordine, the esame di abilitazione certificate and the laurea magistrale in giurisprudenza with its voto.
We translate the barou certificate confirming your standing in the Uniunea Națională a Barourilor din România tablou, your licență în drept and the examen de definitivat result, where you hold it.
Have your documents certified by a solicitor or notary first, then upload scans of the certified copies. We translate the document and the certification, stamp each page with our name, address and contact details, and post the hard copy by tracked post for your application pack.
