What We Translate on a Tax Return

A tax return is dense with figures, form codes and schedules, and a reviewer needs income and tax lines rendered exactly. Whatever the country’s tax system, here is what we capture.

👤 Taxpayer & Tax Year

The taxpayer’s name and tax identification number and the fiscal year covered, matched to the identity and income documents in the same filing.

💰 Income Figures

Gross, taxable and net income lines kept exactly in the original currency – we translate figures, we never convert or recalculate them.

🧾 Forms & Schedules

Each form and schedule line rendered with its label, so a reviewer or underwriter can map foreign line items to what they need.

📋 Deductions & Credits

Allowances, deductions and credits translated with their descriptions, preserving how the taxable base was reached.

🏛️ Tax Authority & Assessment

The issuing tax authority, the assessment or acknowledgement, tax due and tax paid, with any reference or filing number.

🔖 Stamps, Seals & e-Filing Marks

Official stamps, seals and electronic-filing acknowledgements are described in brackets and positioned as on the original.

Every Language Routes Through the Same Trusted Pipeline

We translate tax returns both into English and from English into any target language. Whether the return is in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian or any other language, every order follows the same quality-controlled process, keeping figures exact and the form structure intact. You upload, we translate, certify and deliver – ready for USCIS, a lender or an accountant.

FAQs

Tax Returns Translation: Common Questions

Does USCIS need my foreign tax return translated for the I-864?+
Yes. The most recent tax return is the primary income evidence for the I-864 Affidavit of Support. A foreign-language return must be submitted with a complete certified English translation; our Certificate of Accuracy meets the requirement.
Do you convert the amounts to US dollars?+
No. We render the figures faithfully in the original currency and state that currency clearly; converting to USD, using the correct exchange rate, is the job of the reviewing officer, underwriter or accountant. We never recalculate a return.
How much does tax return translation cost?+
$29.95 per page (1 page = 300 source words). Returns are billed per page, so a single assessment costs less than a full return with schedules. No surcharges for rarer languages.
How long does it take?+
Standard turnaround is 24 hours for a short return; multi-schedule returns take proportionally longer. For a filing or closing deadline, contact us about expedited service.
Do you keep the form layout and line items?+
Yes. We preserve the form and schedule structure with labels and figures in place, so an officer or underwriter can map foreign line items to the income and tax figures they need to see.
Do tax return translations need notarization?+
USCIS and most lenders accept the certified translation without notarization. Some courts or foreign authorities request it; notarization is $19.95 per order.
Can you translate a US tax return for use abroad?+
Yes. We translate US federal and state returns from English into the language a foreign authority, lender or residency program requires, with the same certified accuracy statement.
