What We Translate on Every Bank Statement

A bank statement is accepted only when the figures and structure survive translation intact – a reviewer must be able to read balances and dates at a glance. Whatever the bank or country, here is what we render.

💳 Account & Bank Details

The account holder, account or IBAN number, the bank and branch, and the statement period – the header a reviewer checks first.

💲 Balances & Amounts

Opening and closing balances and every transaction amount, kept exactly in the original currency; we translate figures, we never convert them.

📊 Transaction Lines

Each dated transaction with its description (deposits, transfers, payments), so income and activity are visible line by line.

🧾 Original Layout Preserved

The table and column structure is reproduced with borders and bold text – no colour fills – so the translation reads like the statement, not a wall of text.

💵 Currency & Date Format

The currency is stated clearly and dates are rendered so a US reviewer is not misled by day/month order; the original values are always kept.

🔖 Bank Stamps & Signatures

Branch stamps, bank certifications and any authorised signature are described in brackets and positioned as on the original.

Every Language Routes Through the Same Trusted Pipeline

We translate bank statements both into English and from English into any target language. Whether the statement is in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian or any other language, every order follows the same quality-controlled process, keeping figures exact and the layout intact. You upload, we translate, certify and deliver – ready for USCIS, a consulate, a university or a lender.

FAQs

Bank Statement Translation: Common Questions

Does USCIS accept a certified translation of a foreign bank statement?+
Yes. When bank statements support an I-864 Affidavit of Support or other petition, a foreign-language statement must be accompanied by a complete certified English translation. Our Certificate of Accuracy meets the 8 CFR §103.2(b)(3) requirement.
Do you convert the currency to US dollars?+
No. By default the translation keeps every figure in the original currency; converting to USD is normally done by the reviewing officer or your accountant using the correct exchange rate. We state the currency clearly so there is no ambiguity, but we never alter the amounts. If your case does require a currency conversion, contact us and we will provide a quote – request a quote here.
How much does bank statement translation cost?+
$29.95 per page (1 page = 300 source words). Statements are billed per page, so a one-page summary costs less than several months of transactions. No surcharges for rarer languages.
Do you keep the table layout of the statement?+
Yes. We reproduce the account header, columns and transaction rows with borders and bold text so the translation reads like the original statement. A reviewer can match balances, dates and amounts at a glance – which is what leads to acceptance.
How long does it take?+
Standard turnaround is 24 hours for a short statement; multi-page histories take proportionally longer. For a visa-interview or filing deadline, contact us about expedited service.
Do bank statement translations need notarization?+
USCIS, consulates and universities normally accept the certified translation without notarization. Some lenders or courts request it; notarization is $19.95 per order and available at checkout.
Can you translate several months of statements at once?+
Yes. We regularly translate multi-month or multi-account statement sets, billed per page, keeping formatting and terminology consistent across the whole set.
