SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program description

Official Translations LLC ("Official Translations", "we", "us") operates a customer-service SMS program. If you give us your consent, we send you text messages that relate to your own inquiry, quote or order: a link to our secure quote and document-upload page, order confirmations and status updates, delivery notifications, and replies to questions you have asked us. This is a conversational and transactional program only. We never send promotional or marketing text messages.

2. How you opt in

You can opt in to receive text messages from us in either of the following ways:

• By entering your mobile number and ticking the SMS consent checkbox on our quote page or order page. The checkbox is unticked by default and you must tick it yourself.
• By verbally agreeing during a phone call with us, after we ask whether you would like to receive a text message.

Consent is obtained directly from you. It is never purchased, rented or obtained from any third party or affiliate. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your activity with us. Most customers receive between one and five messages per order.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Official Translations does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for messages you send or receive according to your plan.

5. How to opt out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP we will send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages from us. If you want to rejoin, sign up again as described in section 2 and we will resume sending messages to you.

7. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy

Mobile information and SMS/text messaging consent will not be shared, sold, rented or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
