About Court Translations

U.S. employment and work authorization require certified English translations of foreign credentials. Form I-9 employment eligibility verification under INA §274A, H-1B specialty occupation petitions, L-1 intracompany transferee status, O-1 extraordinary ability, and state professional licensing boards all rely on certified translations of foreign diplomas, employment letters, and credential evaluations.

We translate foreign diplomas, university transcripts, employment verification letters, work permits, reference letters, professional licenses, and any other document required for your U.S. employment authorization or visa petition. Every translation carries a signed Certificate of Accuracy in the format USCIS, U.S. employers, and state licensing boards (NABP, NCEES, NCBE, AICPA-affiliated state CPA boards, FCVS/ECFMG, state nursing boards) accept on first submission.

Employment & Work Authorization – Frequently Asked Questions
Do U.S. employers require translation for I-9 employment verification?+
Yes. If your foreign identity or work authorization documents (passport, foreign work permit, foreign degree for H-1B specialty occupation) are not in English, you need a certified translation for Form I-9. Employers must verify both the original document and the certified translation, as required under INA §274A and 8 CFR 274a.2(b), accompanied by a signed statement of accuracy. We provide exactly that.
Do I need a translation if the original document is in English?+
No. Documents already in English (or with an official English version – e.g. bilingual EU certificates) can be submitted as-is. Where only the foreign-language original exists, a certified translation is required.
Is translation required for H-1B petitions?+
Yes. USCIS requires certified English translations of foreign degrees, transcripts, and credential evaluations for H-1B specialty occupation petitions. Our translators are familiar with foreign credential systems including engineering degrees from India (B.Tech, M.Tech), IT degrees from China, medical degrees from EU, and accounting degrees from Latin America. Used with WES, ECE, and other NACES member evaluation services.
Can you translate documents for state professional licensing?+
Yes. State licensing boards require certified translations of foreign diplomas and transcripts. Our translations are accepted by NABP (pharmacy), NCBE (legal), NCEES (engineering), AICPA-affiliated state CPA boards, FCVS/ECFMG (medical), state nursing boards, and state professional licensing for accountants, attorneys, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, engineers, and other regulated professionals. We also handle TN visas under USMCA for Canadian and Mexican credentialsrangements.
