Accuracy is the most important quality of a certified translation. A mistranslation can result in a rejected visa application, a delayed court case, or a failed qualification assessment. This guide explains how we guarantee accuracy and what our guarantee covers.
Every translation goes through the following quality assurance process:
If a translation we produce is not accepted by the intended authority — whether the Home Office, UKVI, a UK court, a university, or an overseas authority — we will investigate and provide a revised translation at no extra cost.
This guarantee applies where the non-acceptance is due to a deficiency in our translation. It does not apply where the authority rejects the translation for reasons unrelated to its quality (e.g., they require a specific format we were not informed of, or there is an issue with the underlying document itself).
Our translators are professionals with relevant language qualifications and subject-matter expertise. Many are members of professional bodies including ITI, CIOL, and equivalent overseas organisations. For specialist documents (legal, medical, technical), we use translators with specific expertise in the relevant field.
In the rare event that there is an error in a translation, contact us immediately. We will review the translation, correct any errors, and issue a revised certified translation. Accuracy is our primary commitment and we take any quality issue seriously.
Our certified translations are accepted by the Home Office, UKVI, and UK courts. We guarantee acceptance or we’ll revise at no extra cost.
